With the full moon/eclipse of today, it is a powerful day for release and change. Much change happens in our lives when we make room for the new by letting go of what we no longer need. The images present today all signify the releasing energy at hand, here to aid us in our process, so that this holiday season, as we let go and make space by clearing out what weighs us down, we find more room in our lives, and within our hearts for joy. Enjoy the guided journey towards clearing what shows up for you today in order that you can breath more free and in order that what you’ve held onto for so long can finally be let go.
There are jingle bells (ringing in the new)… and a sparrow (here as messenger, and symbolizing rebirth, renewal, a new day). The land is covered in snow (purity, cleansing renewal), above is the night sky ( deep exploration, our other side that is hidden). In the background, near the snow covered trees, is a small cabin. It is lit up, inviting and warm. (houses always signify your psyche. Within this house is your work, it is what you are here to become aware of and are ready to explore). The house is lit up, which means that you are ready to ‘see’ this aspect of yourself that you have the opportunity, this day, to release.
Take some deep breaths, breathing in first through your mouth and then out through your nose. Breathing next in through your mouth, holding for three seconds and then out through your mouth. Do this a few times to relax and center. ( this type of breathing balances your left and right brains).
Now, make your way over to the cabin and go inside. ( yes you are ready to explore this aspect of you, the light of the cabin is on. This means that a part of you that has been hidden or repressed deep inside is ready to be revealed and release you from its grasp). Inside the cabin, there is a fire burning in the fireplace and the room is cozy and warm. There is an old woman sitting in a rocking chair. (She is the crone, here to present the wisdom to of your soul). She is holding a book. It is your story. As you go closer and sit down beside her, you notice that she has turned to a page. This is the page that holds the information that you need at this time, the key to what you will release today, the key to what is standing in your way. On the page, you may see a picture, you may see words, it may be from childhood, it may be from this week. Receive the information and know you are ready for it. (you may get a feeling, it may be a belief, you may see or remember the first time that you came to see the world in a certain way, or the first time you lost faith, or were wounded in a way that affects you still so much today. Just go with the first impression you get and it will be correct).
Allow yourself to receive the information presented to you. You are ready. The grandmother (crone) takes the page from the book and hands it to you. She gently rubs your head, looks into your eyes, and tells you there’s another way, a different ending to the story. It doesn’t have to be this way. She gives it to you to release and transform. It is important for you to realize that whatever’s on that page is yours to release. It is up to you to do so. All you need to do is realize that it doesn’t need to control you anymore. It doesn’t need to get in your way. It doesn’t need to be your truth. It has been removed from the book, as it can be removed from your psyche, if you are willing, today, to question its truth and let it go.
Next she goes over to the mantel and takes down a snow globe. She turns it upside down so that all of the snow rushes to the top. Turning it over once again right-side up, she hands it to you and says “Within this globe, beyond the snow, is truth”. See that image now, the real one, the one your heart longs for, and believe. All you need do to make it so in your life is believe. Take that image into your heart, that thing that your heart so desires, that love you crave, that joy, that community, or success, or relationship, that you dancing and singing, or celebrating or being completely free. Take that image into your heart and memorize it. Allow for your belief in the story on that page from the book to dissolve.
What we believe in we give power to. It takes a lot of time and energy to pay into sustaining what we believe to be true. Question your beliefs today, especially the ones that are bringing you pain or keeping your form your truth. You can bring to life your joyful, boundless, love-filled you now. It is time. Let go of the page of your story that restricts your growth. You are fully supported by the energy of the moon and the planets in letting go in a very big way today. Honor yourself and your instincts and let the new ending to the story come alive. Keep that snow globe image in your heart, believe, and make it so.
